2018 | Maple wood & Plywood

Inspired by traditional boat-building techniques, my Row Chair has a solid wood frame with thin plywood manually bent on top of it.
The technique led me to use big, generously sized square shapes.
I was influenced by the shape of the wooden boat, which contains and protects the person sitting in it. The result is a robust yet comfortable and lightweight chair, due to minimal use of material.
